Saturday, May 2

Joe is settling into his new digs and resting up for what should hopefully be an active Monday. Valley Medical Center is still doing their evaluation, so they are not letting him talk until they check out his swallowing, etc. His lungs are the main focus so they are treating his infection and working to increase his lung capacity.  Weekends are always quiet and hopefully tomorrow is a rest day for Joe.  I continue to read your messages and cards to him which he appreciates.     Joe:
    I just made for you a CD of my favorite David Sedaris short stories which I'll be mailing down to you. He's a very funny writer and I think you'll enjoy listening to them. My baby was due a few days ago, but still hasn't come yet. Once he's born and we're settled in, Mike and I are eager to come see you. In the meantime, we send our love and soon some good laughs with these stories.
