Update Thursday morning 4/9

Sandy just called and said the breathing tube has been removed from Joe's throat. He was sitting up in bed smiling when she entered his room this morning. Sandy didn't have any more information on his legs or arm movement, I hope to have another update for you all tonight. :)



  1. Joe, I've heard you're a genuine people person and thus love to talk. Thank goodness the tube is removed. Now you'll be able to get back to chatting it up with your friends and family. Way to go Joe!!!

    I met you at the track and was over taken by how friendly you are and your amazing grey hair. What a hansome guy I thought to myself and he loves to race on the track even better. My friend Richard Shields intoduced us and when I told him of you accident, he wanted to me to send you healing thoughts. You have inspired him to start track racing and he hopes you have a speedy recovery, so you can come watch him out on the track. Keep that beautiful smile on your face. You will be back in no time.
