Happy Memorial Day

Greetings from sunny Northern California. Winter has finally ended. I have settled into a new routine so there is not much to report. My physical therapy continues to go well. My physical therapy Kaiser Vallejo has stopped for the near-term. I will continue to go to Pleasanton 2 to 3 times a week. Sandy and I are having some friends over tomorrow for a BBQ.     Joe, i'm assuming you won't be here next weekend when Wali Jones & Walt Hazard will be in town but I'll send your regards. I'm hoping Ricky can make it.

    You made our day when you called. It was so great to hear from you, yet we were shocked when we heard all that you have been through. You and your wife are a great team and it sounds like you've made wonderful progress. You always were goal oriented, so we're confident that you will make each goal you set one day at a time.     Joe,

    Some how I missed this whole ordeal. I'm sorry for all that happened to you but am again inspired by your attitude and smile. I still remember your celebration on the infield in Colorado Springs when you won your medal at Nationals. I'll never forget that day.

    I'm struggling a bit with attitude today, and reading some of your blog posts reminded me that an attitude of gratitude is a powerful thing.

    I'll be reading!
