Thursday, May 28 Marching in Place

OK. We had the pacemaker appointment for 1 pm today but then life took over and we are rescheduled for tomorrow morning at 7:30 am. So, let's hope when I arrive tomorrow it is done. We will rest up in San Jose over the weekend and then move to Vallejo early Monday morning. At least that is the plan.   Joe enjoys all the staff in San Jose so this is not really a problem.  After spending all day in bed waiting for the surgery, he was happy  to get up and go down for his gym appointment.  I will give you the final plans on Friday but those of you in the San Jose area, this may be your last weekend to visit before we leave the area.  Ice chips and 7-Up to celebrate. Will let you know the final plan tomorrow. Love Sandy & Joe

    Hi Joe and Sandy,

    Just a small request to keep your antennae up for nursing-related tidbits I can use in the blog I write for nursezone.com. You can be the 'secret shopper' on the rehab scene, feed me the inside scoop and maybe I can plunk out a post for the blog. I'm always scrounging for ideas and the good news is that the subjects don't need to be especially cerebral--funny and/or controversial go over well. Below is a link to one of my posts. I see that you can't just click on it--it would have to be pasted in. No obligation to actually take a look at it, BTW (or to send ideas--but if they happen to jump into your lap, I'd enjoy hearing them).

    I don't know your friend Muzzy, but he tells a great story!
