November 5: Better
Joe was better when I left him last night. He will probably be in the hospital until the end of the week. With luck we got a private room which makes up for being in the basement all of Sunday night. Once I get the nurses trained in one room, they move him to another but at least we are going up where the view is good. Will add more later. Sandy

Yo, Joe, enuf with a bladder infection. Many of the ladies in our suppport grp often contract UTI's so the concept & prblm is more common than i had ever thot. Who knew?
ReplyDeleteWhat this only serves to confirm is that "shit happens" more often than it shld & to the wrong people too.
My trials w elec stim ocntinue to be of value. i tried wlaking w it on at the last session & I was forced to stand much more erect when using the walker. If you recall, i walked hunched over a great deal of the time since my lower back, the erector muscles, are not being properly informed to work as they shld. I am hoping that w increased treatments each week rather than just 1, i will see a marked imprvmnt in my posture & ability to walk grtr distances.
You get better fast & home where Sandy can provide the excptional care you're accustomed to, need & might just possibly even deserve.

EEEgads! So sorry to hear that you had to go through all of that. Just what neither of you needs that's for sure. Joe, I hope you are feeling better with the right medication and can get back on track as soon as possible.
